Our Home

Where Niagara Hockey Comes Home

The Niagara Jr. Cataracts are proud to call Hyde Park Ice Pavilion home. Located in the heart of Niagara Falls, Hyde Park is more than the rink where our teams practice and compete—it is part of the hockey history of our community.

For generations, families have walked through the doors at Hyde Park carrying hockey bags, sticks, skates, and plenty of hopes and dreams. Players have learned their first strides here, scored their first goals, celebrated victories, faced tough losses, and developed friendships that lasted far beyond their playing days.

For the Niagara Jr. Cataracts, there could be no more appropriate place to build the next chapter of Niagara Falls hockey.

A Rink With History

The building holds memories.

Hyde Park has long been a gathering place for hockey in Niagara Falls. Its ice has welcomed generations of local players—from those just learning the game to high school, youth, adult, and competitive hockey players.

Parents remember sitting in the stands. Former players remember the locker rooms and early-morning practices. Coaches remember the teams they helped develop. And now another generation of children has the opportunity to create its own memories on the same ice.

That connection between generations is important to us.

Bringing Niagara Hockey Home

A place to learn, develop, compete, and belong.

Our revitalization of the Niagara Jr. Cataracts is about more than building competitive hockey teams. It is about rebuilding a connection between hockey, Hyde Park, and the Niagara Falls community.

Just as we have embraced the historic Cataracts name to recognize Niagara's hockey heritage, we are equally proud to make Hyde Park the center of our program.

We want families throughout Niagara Falls and the surrounding communities to know that there is a place for them here.

The Next Generation

We want game days at Hyde Park to mean something again.

Our vision is to see Hyde Park filled with Niagara Jr. Cataracts players and families—from young players taking their first steps in hockey to travel players proudly representing Niagara throughout Western New York and beyond.

We envision the stands filled with families, grandparents, former players, friends, and members of the community supporting kids wearing Niagara Jr. Cataracts across their jerseys.

Because a successful youth hockey organization isn't measured only by wins and championships. It is measured by the community it creates and the young people it helps develop.

Proud to Call Hyde Park Home

Welcome to Hyde Park. Welcome Home.

When our players step onto the ice at Hyde Park, they are becoming part of something bigger than one team or one season. They are continuing a hockey tradition that has existed in Niagara Falls for generations.

We are proud of where we play. We are proud of the community we represent. And we are excited about what comes next.

Built in Niagara. Driven to Compete. Developing Players. Building Character. United as One.
